Is $299.10 a good price for this playset?

It is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 7, 2026. Wooden sets with two swings, a slide and a playhouse usually cost more, so it is a fair price if you can handle assembly.

How long does assembly take?

Plan on most of a day with two adults. Owners report the instructions are thin, so sorting hardware first helps.

Does the wood need treating?

Yes. The wood is weather-resistant, but owners say sealing or staining each season keeps it from cracking and graying.

It is rated for ages 3 to 12. The belt swings and curved slide suit younger kids, while older kids may outgrow the slide first.

How much weight can the swings hold?

The dual swings are rated for 400 kg combined, and the set's total capacity is 600 lb.

What comes in the box?

The wood frame, two belt swings, curved slide, playhouse panels with a chalkboard wall, and rustproof mounting hardware. You supply the tools and ground anchors.

Our take on the Dolphin Playground Wooden Outdoor Playset with Swings, Slide, and Playhouse

A wooden backyard playset with two belt swings, a curved slide and a playhouse with a chalkboard wall, rated for ages 3 to 12. The frame is weather-resistant wood with rustproof hardware and a reinforced base, and the swings are rated for 400 kg combined. At $299.10 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. That is low for a wooden swing-and-slide set, but expect assembly time and some sanding or sealing upkeep.
