Our take on the Domipet Heated Outdoor Cat House with Heating Pad

The Domipet Heated Outdoor Cat House is a single-level insulated shelter with a built-in heating pad, sized at 20.5 inches high for a porch, garage or barn. It stands out by bundling warmth with the shelter rather than selling a pad separately. Its 3.5-star rating from 20 ratings suggests buyers are split, so check the heating and weatherproofing details before committing. No current price was supplied, so compare it against unheated wooden shelters, which usually cost less.

Questions and answers

Is the Domipet heated cat house worth it?
It is a reasonable pick if you need heat built into a small outdoor shelter and have a nearby outlet. At 3.5 stars from 20 ratings, read the size and weatherproofing details first, since satisfaction varies.
How big is it inside?
The house is 20.5 inches high with one level. That suits most average cats, but large breeds and multi-cat use will feel cramped.
Does the heating pad need electricity?
Yes. The pad is powered by a cord, so the house needs to sit within reach of an outdoor-rated outlet or extension cord.
Is it weatherproof enough to leave outside?
It is marketed as an outdoor house, but owners report mixed results in wet or windy spots. Place it under cover, such as a porch or carport, for the best life.
What comes in the box?
You get the cat house and the heating pad. Check the listing for the cord length and any mounting hardware before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Outdoor pet shelters tend to dip in late summer and around Black Friday. Set a price alert and compare against unheated wooden houses, which usually cost less.
What do buyers say about the Domipet Heated Outdoor Cat House with Heating Pad?
Rated 3.5 out of 5 from 20 ratings.
