How long does the battery last?

Dreame rates it at up to 230 minutes per charge, which is long enough for most large homes. Real runtime drops on max suction and deep carpet.

Does it empty and wash itself?

Yes. The Ultra base station empties the dustbin and washes the mop pads, so you mostly refill and empty the base tanks.

Will it work on carpet and hardwood?

Yes. Dreame lists both carpet and hardwood as recommended surfaces, and the robot lifts or adjusts for each.

How much space does the base need?

The unit is about 19.6 x 15.4 x 16.7 in and weighs 34.5 lb. Leave clearance in front for the robot to dock and a power outlet nearby.

What is in the Complete Kit?

The Complete Kit adds spare accessories such as extra mop pads and filters beyond the standard package. Check the listing for the exact contents.

Is it worth the price over a cheaper Dreame?

You pay for the self-emptying, self-washing base and longer runtime. If you don't mind emptying and washing by hand, a mid-range Dreame does the core cleaning for less.
