Is this cap good for running?

It works for easy jogs and walks. The sweatband wicks moisture, but the cotton blend holds dampness longer than a dedicated synthetic running cap.

How does the sizing run?

True to size. Pick M/L for most adults and XL/2XL if you normally wear a large or extra-large hat.

Can I machine wash it?

Yes. Machine wash it, and air dry to keep the shape and the metal slider in good condition.

Is it warm enough for winter?

No. It is lightweight fall-weight fabric. For cold weather you want a fleece or insulated cap.

Does it keep rain off?

No. The cotton-polyester sweatshirt fabric is not waterproof and will soak through in steady rain.

What is the back closure?

An adjustable strap with a metal slider, so you can set the fit once and leave it.

Our take on the Duluth Trading Lightweight Sweatshirt Ball Cap

A baseball cap cut from lightweight sweatshirt fabric, a 58% cotton and 42% polyester blend with a heathered look. It has a moisture-wicking sweatband and an adjustable back strap with a metal slider. Two size ranges, M/L and XL/2XL, cover most heads, and the fit runs true to size. It is a fall-weight casual cap, not a technical running hat.
