Our take on the DynastyMattress DM1000C Adjustable Bed Base

The DynastyMattress DM1000C is a steel-frame adjustable bed base with independent head and foot articulation, a phone app, and interchangeable leg heights. It is built to sit inside a platform or storage bed frame and accepts a standard mattress rather than a specialty one. At $1,397 at dynastymattress.com as of November 4, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against. Buyers should weigh it against mass-market adjustable bases that cost several hundred dollars less.

Best forCouples who want separate head and foot positionsPeople replacing a box spring in a platform bedShoppers who want app control instead of a wired remoteSleepers who need a raised or lowered frame height
Pros
  • Independent head and foot articulation suits two sleepers
  • Steel frame is sturdier than common wood-and-motor bases
  • Phone app control avoids hunting for a remote
  • Interchangeable legs let you set the frame height
  • Drops into a platform or storage bed without a box spring
Cons
  • $1,397 is high for a base-only purchase with no mattress
  • Only one store lists it, so there is no price competition
  • App control depends on your phone staying paired
  • No wall-hugger or massage features listed at this price
  • Very few ratings so far, so reliability is unproven

Questions and answers

Is the DM1000C worth $1,397?
That price buys a steel frame, dual articulation and app control, but no mattress. Comparable adjustable bases from larger brands often sell for less, so compare motor warranty and weight capacity before committing.
Does it work with any mattress?
It is designed for standard mattresses, including memory foam and hybrid models. Very thick or heavy mattresses can strain the motors, so check the weight rating before buying.
Do I need a box spring with it?
No. The base replaces a box spring and is platform-bed compatible, so the mattress sits directly on the frame.
Can two people set different positions?
Yes. Head and foot sections articulate independently, so each side can be adjusted separately.
How tall is the frame?
Leg heights are interchangeable, so you set the floor-to-frame height yourself. Exact dimensions are listed on the product page.
When is it cheapest?
It is sold new at one store only, dynastymattress.com, at $1,397 as of November 4, 2026. Watch for holiday sales there, since no other retailer competes on price.
What do buyers say about the DynastyMattress DM1000C Adjustable Bed Base?
