Our take on the Dyson Ball 2 Animal Upright Vacuum

The Dyson Ball 2 Animal is a corded upright vacuum built for homes with pets. It uses Dyson's ball steering, a self-adjusting cleaner head, a de-tangling brush bar and whole-machine HEPA filtration rated to trap 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. It has no battery, so suction stays constant for as long as you clean. Its only recorded price is $209.99 at ShopSimon as of October 30, 2026, so there is no lower recent price to compare against.

How does it compare with cordless Dyson vacuums?
It has stronger, non-fading suction and a larger bin, but it is heavier and tethered by a cord. Cordless models are better for quick cleanups and stairs.
