Questions and answers

Is the V11 Outsize worth it at $249.99?
At $249.99 at ShopSimon as of November 4, 2026, it is a strong buy for large homes with hard floors. You get Dyson suction, a wide head and HEPA filtration for far less than this model's original list price.
How does it differ from the standard V11?
The Outsize has a 25% wider cleaner head and a larger bin than the standard V11. It is heavier and built for bigger floors rather than tight apartments.
How long does the battery last and how long to charge?
Dyson rates runtime at up to 60 minutes, which assumes the lowest power mode. A full charge takes about 4.5 hours, and the click-in battery can be swapped for a spare.
Is it good for pet hair?
Yes. The wide head and strong suction pull hair off hard floors and low-pile carpet, and the de-tangling design keeps hair from wrapping the brush bar. The HEPA filtration also helps with dander.
What comes in the box?
Expect the vacuum, battery, charger, wall-mount dock and a set of tools for floors, upholstery and crevices. Exact attachments vary by listing, so check the included tools before buying.
When is it cheapest?
Cordless vacuums like this one tend to drop during Black Friday and end-of-year sales. The current $249.99 at ShopSimon is already well below typical new pricing, so waiting may not save much.
