Our take on the Easyhawk 8x8 FT Metal Outdoor Storage Shed

The Easyhawk 8x8 FT Metal Outdoor Storage Shed is a 64 sq ft galvanized-steel garden shed with an aluminum frame, a sloped metal roof and double doors. Four vents keep air moving, and the 62.6 in door height clears most adults. It ships flat and needs assembly, and at 126.77 lb it is light enough for two people to move before anchoring. No current price was supplied, so check the latest best price against its recent range before buying.

Best forHomeowners needing a weatherproof shed for mowers, bikes and toolsGardeners storing pots, soil and long-handled toolsBuyers who want a metal shed that won't rot or need paintingRenters or movers who want a shed that can be taken down and relocated
Pros
  • Galvanized steel panels resist rust and need only a wipe-down
  • Sloped metal roof sheds rain and snow without ponding
  • Four vents reduce condensation and stale air
  • Double doors give a 48.4 in wide, 62.6 in high opening
  • Light 126.77 lb frame is manageable for two people to position
  • No painting or sealing, unlike wood sheds
Cons
  • Flat-pack assembly is the main job; budget a full day for two people
  • Thin steel panels dent and can rattle in high wind
  • No floor included, so you need a level base or slab
  • Metal gets very hot in direct summer sun and loud in heavy rain
  • Anchoring to a slab or ground stakes is essential, not optional

Owner feedback on comparable Easyhawk metal sheds is mixed. People like the price and the rust-free panels, but assembly instructions and panel fit draw the most complaints.

Pros
  • Good value for the square footage
  • Steel panels hold up through rain and snow
  • Doors open wide enough for a riding mower
Cons
  • Instructions are thin and some holes don't line up
  • Panels feel flimsy until fully screwed down
  • Condensation forms without a floor or good base

Questions and answers

Is the Easyhawk 8x8 shed worth it?
It is a reasonable buy if you want a low-maintenance metal shed at a budget price and can handle a day of assembly. Skip it if you need a sturdy building for heavy equipment or a finished floor.
Does it come with a floor?
No. You need a level concrete slab, pavers or a timber base. A solid base also stops the frame from twisting and keeps moisture out.
How tall is the door opening?
The double door opening is 62.59 in high and 48.42 in wide, and each single leaf is 24.21 in wide. Most adults clear it, but tall riders and ladders may not.
How long does assembly take?
Plan on most of a day for two people. The 126.77 lb kit arrives flat-packed, and having a second person helps with roof panels and squaring the frame.
Can it handle snow and wind?
The sloped metal roof sheds snow, but the light steel frame needs anchoring to a slab or ground stakes. In heavy snow areas, clear the roof to avoid panel bowing.
When is it cheapest?
Metal sheds usually drop in price in late summer and around Black Friday. Compare the current best price with its recent range before buying.
