Questions and answers

Is the Easyup cat house actually insulated?
The listing describes it as insulated and all-season, but gives no R-value or wall thickness. Treat the insulation as light. In hard freezes, add straw or a heated pad rated for outdoor use.
How big is it, and will a large cat fit?
It is a medium, single-level house with one door and one perch, listed for small pets and one animal. A large cat will find it tight. Measure your cat's length against the interior before buying.
Does it come assembled?
No. Installation is required, and it ships as a single piece in retail packaging. Budget 30 to 60 minutes with a screwdriver.
Can it stay outside all winter?
The resin frame is weatherproof and won't rot like wood, and the flat roof sheds rain. It is best placed under cover or on a porch, and raised off cold ground.
Is $45.99 a good price?
It is the only new price listed, $45.99 at Walmart as of November 4, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it to. At under $50 it is cheap for a resin outdoor shelter, but check whether a comparable wooden house costs much more.
What's in the box?
The listing shows a single-piece shipment with the resin panels and hardware for assembly. A bed or cushion is not listed, so plan to add your own.
Where is the Easyup Weatherproof Resin Outdoor Cat House, Insulated All-Season Shelter, Black cheapest?
