Is the pull-out bed comfortable for overnight guests?

It is a basic pull-out, not a mattress-grade sleeper. Most guests will want a topper for more than a night or two.

How much room does it need?

It is 81.5 inches wide, 53 inches deep and 34.5 inches tall. Leave clearance in front for the bed to extend.

What can the storage hold?

The built-in compartment fits bedding, pillows or throws. It is not sized for large items like suitcases.

Is corduroy hard to keep clean?

Corduroy traps lint and pet hair and needs regular brushing. Spot-clean spills promptly and avoid harsh scrubbing.

Does it come assembled?

It typically ships flat and needs assembly. Two people make it easier given the size and weight.

Is it worth it over a plain sofa?

If you need a guest bed and storage in one piece, yes. If you only need seating, a standard sofa is cheaper and lighter.

Our take on the Ebern Designs Corduroy Bed & Storage Chaise

The Ebern Designs Corduroy Bed & Storage Chaise is a sectional-style sofa in corduroy with a pull-out bed and built-in storage. It measures 81.5 inches wide, 53 inches deep and 34.5 inches tall, so it needs a large footprint and works best as a main living-room or guest-room piece. The pull-out sleeper and hidden storage make it a two-in-one buy for small homes. It is rated 3.9 out of 5 from 54 ratings, which suggests solid but not universal satisfaction.
