Our take on the ECCPP Front Pair Struts Shocks for 2009-2018 Ram 1500

This is a pair of ECCPP front strut-and-shock assemblies for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 trucks, sold as a left and right set. They are steel units with a corrosion-resistant finish, aimed at owners replacing worn factory front dampers on a budget. At $52.84 for the pair at ECCPP as of November 4, 2026, they sit at the low end of what a Ram 1500 front pair costs new, well under the typical $150-$300 for name-brand assemblies.

Questions and answers

Is $52.84 a good price for these struts?
Yes. A front pair for a Ram 1500 usually runs $150-$300 from name brands, so $52.84 at ECCPP as of November 4, 2026 is near the bottom of the market. Expect budget-level damping at that price.
Do these fit my 2017 Ram 1500?
Yes, they are listed for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 front positions, left and right. Confirm your truck is not a lifted or air-suspension model before ordering.
Should I replace both front struts at once?
Yes. Worn struts should be replaced in pairs to keep handling balanced side to side, and this listing already includes both fronts.
Are these better than OEM or Bilstein struts?
No. They cost a fraction of the price but generally ride firmer and wear faster. Choose them for a cheap repair, not for improved ride or towing performance.
What is included in the box?
One front pair: a left and a right strut/shock assembly. Mounting hardware is not clearly listed, so reuse or buy new top nuts and bolts.
When are they cheapest?
Budget brands like this rarely discount deeply. The current $52.84 at ECCPP is already near the floor, so waiting is unlikely to save much.
Where is the ECCPP Front Pair Struts Shocks for 2009-2018 Ram 1500 cheapest?
At ECCPP, for $52.84, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the ECCPP Front Pair Struts Shocks for 2009-2018 Ram 1500?
2 stores we checked sell it, including ECCPP, eBay.
