It handles both dry debris and spilled water, and the listing marks it as suitable for pet households. Questions and answers

Is $79.98 a good price for this vacuum?
It is the only new price listed as of November 3, 2026, at Macy's, so there is no recent range to compare it with. Treat it as the current market price rather than a confirmed discount.
What does 6 peak HP mean?
Peak horsepower is measured at the motor's maximum, not its working output. Expect strong suction for a 5-gallon shop vacuum, but don't read it as a continuous 6 HP rating.
Can it pick up water?
Yes. It is a wet and dry vacuum, so it can take spilled water and wet debris as well as dry dirt. Empty and dry the tank before switching back to dry pickup.
Is it good for pet hair?
The listing marks it for pets, and the large canister and wide hose typical of shop vacuums handle hair well on floors and in cars. Hair can cling to the tank and filter, so plan on cleaning both.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not detail the included hose, wands or nozzles. Check the box contents with the seller before buying if you need specific attachments.
When is it cheapest?
With only one new price listed, there is no seasonal pattern to point to. Watch the price around major sale periods and compare against other 5-gallon shop vacuums.
Where is the Ecooso 5 Gal 6 Peak HP Wet & Dry Shop Vacuum cheapest?
At Macy's, for $79.98, as of our latest check.
