Is the Edding 4600 good for kids?

Yes. Edding lists it as suitable for kids, and the mini markers are easy for small hands. The water-based ink is the same type used for fabric craft projects.

Does the ink wash out of fabric?

It is a textile marker, so the ink is meant to stay on fabric. Water-based fabric inks can still fade over many washes, so follow Edding's heat-setting instructions on the packaging.

What tip does it have?

A bullet tip. That suits drawing, lettering and coloring on fabric, but it is not a fine liner for very small detail.

What colors are in the 5-pack?

The set is the Brilliant Colours assortment, with blue, green, black and multicolor among the five markers.

Is $16.79 a good price?

It is the lowest new price across the 5 stores listing it as of November 7, 2026. Compare per-marker cost if you need more than five.

Our take on the Edding 4600 Textile Marker Brilliant Colours 5-pack

The Edding 4600 is a water-based fabric marker with a bullet tip, sold here as a 5-pack in brilliant colors (blue, green, black and multicolor). The round bullet tip draws and sketches on textiles, and the water-based ink is designed for fabric projects rather than paper. At $16.79 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it is the lowest of the 5 stores listing it new.
