Is the Egohome 12 Inch Hybrid good for side sleepers?

Hybrids with coil cores tend to feel firmer, so side sleepers who need pressure relief at the shoulder and hip may find it too firm. Back and stomach sleepers usually do better on this build.

Does it work in a sofa bed frame?

Egohome lists it as a sofa bed style, and the 12-inch thickness fits most full-size convertible frames. Measure your frame's mattress cavity first, since thick mattresses can stop the sofa from folding shut.

How does it compare with an all-foam mattress?

You get more bounce, airflow and edge support from the coils. You give up some motion isolation and the slow-sink feel that memory foam buyers expect.

What size is the full model?

The full is 12 inches thick, 76 inches wide and 80 inches long. That is wider than a standard full, so confirm your frame and sheets fit before ordering.

When is the best time to buy it?

Mattress prices drop around major holiday sales and during new-model clearance. Check the price history on this page to see whether the current listing is below its usual range.

Our take on the Egohome Full 12 Inch Hybrid Mattress

The Egohome 12 Inch Hybrid Mattress is a full-size innerspring and foam hybrid sold as a bed-in-a-box. The 12-inch profile pairs a coil support core with comfort foam layers, which gives it more bounce and edge support than an all-foam mattress. It is listed as a sofa bed style, so it suits guest rooms and convertible frames. No current price or recent price range was provided, so check the live comparison before buying.
