Our take on the Egohome Sleep 14 inch King Size Hybrid Mattress in a Box

The Egohome Sleep 14-inch is a king-size hybrid mattress that combines a pocketed innerspring core with gel memory foam under a Eurotop cover. At 14 inches thick it sits tall on a frame and is sold compressed in a box. The best new price is $399 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, which is low for a king hybrid and puts it in budget territory for its size.

Pros

Coil core gives more bounce and edge support than an all-foam bed

Cons

Firm feel won't suit shoppers who want a soft, sink-in mattress
Eurotop and coil build can transfer motion between partners

Questions and answers

Is the Egohome Sleep 14-inch mattress firm or soft?: It leans firm. The coil core plus gel foam Eurotop gives a supportive feel rather than a deep sink-in. Side sleepers who like plush beds may find it too firm.
Does it need a box spring?: No. It works on a platform bed, slatted frame or adjustable base. A box spring is optional and mainly adds height.
How long should I let it expand after unboxing?: Give it 24 to 72 hours to reach full 14-inch height. Some odor may linger for the first few days, so air out the room.
What sheets fit a 14-inch king mattress?: Use deep-pocket king sheets rated for 14 to 16 inches. Standard 12-inch sheets will pull off the corners.
Is $399 a good price for this mattress?: It is the best new price found, $399 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026. That is low for a king hybrid, so it is a strong value if the firm feel suits you.
Can two people sleep on it without feeling each other move?: Motion transfer is noticeable because of the coil core. Light sleepers may feel a partner shift, more so than on an all-foam mattress.
Where is the Egohome Sleep 14 inch King Size Hybrid Mattress in a Box cheapest?: At Walmart, for $399.00, 39% off, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Egohome Sleep 14 inch King Size Hybrid Mattress in a Box?: Rated 4.7 out of 5 from 232 ratings.
Where can I buy the Egohome Sleep 14 inch King Size Hybrid Mattress in a Box?: 2 stores we checked sell it, including eBay, Walmart.
