Commuting gets easier with this folding electric bike for adults. A 500W peak brushless motor pushes the electric bike to a 19 MPH top speed and climbs slopes up to 15 degrees, so short hills and bridge ramps no longer slow the ride down. The 36V 12Ah battery mounts low under the rear basket, which keeps the handlebars light and the step-through area clear, and delivers 15-35 miles of range per charge in pedal assist mode. Real world range depends on rider weight, terrain, assist level and temperature, which is why the same e bike can land anywhere between those two numbers. The frame is built from high carbon steel for a stiff, durable feel, and the complete folding electric bicycle weighs 48.5 lb. Folded, it measures 37.4 x 28.8 inches, small enough to stand in a closet, roll into an elevator or slide into a car trunk for a weekend trip. Dual suspension and disc brakes smooth out cracked pavement and stop predictably in wet weather, and the front LED light keeps riders visible on early morning commutes. The rear basket carries groceries, a backpack or takeout over the back wheel, so this electric bike for adults works as a practical shopping bike as well as a commuter. It supports riders up to 330 lb, ships 90 percent assembled, and about 20 minutes with the included tools finishes the job. The ebike is UL 2849 certified and Class 2, meaning the throttle works without pedaling up to 19 MPH, and it is intended for riders 18 years and older. For shoppers comparing ebikes for adults, a certified electrical system, a real cargo basket and a compact fold make this electric bicycle an easy everyday choice.
