Will this controller work with my electric throw?

Only if your throw's plug and connector match this unit. Compare the model number on your old controller or blanket label before ordering, since a mismatched plug will not connect.

Is it worth $99.99 when a new throw costs about the same?

If your blanket is otherwise in good shape and you want to keep it, yes. If the blanket is old or worn, a complete new electric throw at a similar price may be the better buy.

What comes in the box?

The controller unit only. No blanket, cord set or adapter is included beyond what the listing shows, so confirm your existing cord fits.

Does it have a timer or auto shut-off?

The listing does not state timer or auto-off features. Ask the seller to confirm the heat settings and safety shut-off before you buy.

When is the price lowest?

Only one new price is listed, $99.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, so there is no track record of discounts. Watch it in the weeks before winter, when demand for throw controllers rises.

Our take on the Electric Throw Replacement Controller

A replacement controller for an electric throw blanket, sold as a single round unit. It is a spare part, not a blanket: it only fits throws whose connector and plug match, so check your old controller's model before buying. At $99.99 at Amazon as of November 7, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against and no cheaper alternative on record.
