Our take on the Electrolux ELWADRGMW7738 Washer & Dryer Set

This is a stacked Electrolux laundry pair: a front-load washer with a matching ventless heat-pump dryer, sold as a set in a 27-inch-wide footprint. It is Energy Star rated, so both units are designed to run efficiently. At $2,186 at Homery as of November 8, 2026, it is the lowest of the three new prices we track, so the set is currently at the bottom of its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is this set worth $2,186?
That is the lowest of the three new prices we track as of November 8, 2026, so it is a fair entry point for a stacked Electrolux pair. Whether it is worth it depends on whether you need ventless drying and a 27-inch stack.
Does the dryer need an outside vent?
No. It is a heat-pump dryer, so it condenses moisture instead of exhausting it, and no exterior vent is required.
How much space does the set need?
The stack is 27 inches wide, so plan for a closet or alcove at least that wide with room behind for hoses and the power cord. Height and depth vary by model, so check the installation guide for the pair.
Can I use the washer and dryer side by side?
They are sold as a stacking set. Running them side by side requires a separate stacking kit or pedestals, so confirm the configuration before ordering.
Why does the dryer take longer than my old one?
Heat-pump dryers run at lower temperatures to save energy, so cycles are usually longer than a vented dryer's. That is normal for this type.
When is this set cheapest?
Laundry sets tend to drop during major holiday sales and appliance events. We track the price history, so check the chart before buying.
Where is the Electrolux ELWADRGMW7738 Washer & Dryer Set cheapest?
At Homery, for $2,186.00, as of our latest check.
Where can I buy the Electrolux ELWADRGMW7738 Washer & Dryer Set?
5 stores we checked sell it, including Aj Madison, Homery, KT Appliance, AJ Madison, Shop Appliances.
