Is the 1500 thread count real?

No. These are 100% polyester microfiber, and the 1500 or 1800 figure is a marketing number rather than a true thread count. Judge it by the fabric feel, not the count.

Will it fit a thick mattress?

Yes, the deep pockets are rated for mattresses up to 16 inches deep. Thinner mattresses will leave extra fabric to tuck.

What comes in the set?

Four pieces: a flat sheet, a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. Sizes follow the standard US twin through king range.

Is it good for hot sleepers?

Not ideal. Polyester microfiber holds heat more than cotton or linen, and several owners say it sleeps warm.

How should I wash them?

Machine wash cold and tumble dry low. Skip high heat and fabric softener, which can damage the microfiber and reduce the wrinkle-free finish.

Yes. At $25.00 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, it sits at the low end of this set's usual range, so it is a fair buy for a spare or guest set.

Our take on the Elegant Comfort 1500 Thread Count Bed Sheet Set

A four-piece microfiber sheet set from Elegant Comfort sold as a 1500 thread count (some listings say 1800) set. The best new price is $25.00 at Walmart as of November 6, 2026, and three stores carry it new. That is near the bottom of what this set usually sells for, so it is a low-risk buy if you want a spare set.
