Questions and answers

Is the EMS Piste Basher boot actually waterproof?

Yes. The upper is synthetic and listed as waterproof, so snow and shallow slush should stay out. Water can still enter over the top of the boot in deep drifts.

What sizes does it come in?

US men's sizes 8, 9, 11 and 13, in black only. Sizes 10 and 12 are not offered.

Is $99.99 a good price for this boot?

It is the best new price among the two stores listing it as of November 8, 2026, and sits at the low end of its recent range. Waiting is unlikely to save much.

Is it warm enough for extreme cold?

The listing gives no temperature rating. The synthetic lining and waterproof upper suit typical winter use, but for sub-zero days pair it with warm socks or look for a boot with a stated insulation rating.

What is the sole made of?

A rubber outsole, which provides traction on packed snow and icy pavement. The insole is EVA foam for cushioning.

Can I wear it for everyday city use?

Yes. The black synthetic upper looks like a normal winter boot, and the EVA insole is comfortable for walking. It is bulkier than a casual shoe, so it suits cold and wet days best.

Where is the EMS Men's Piste Basher Waterproof Extreme Snow Boot cheapest?
