At $9.99 at eBay as of November 7, 2026, it is one of the cheapest ways to try water flossing. Expect basic pressure and a small tank rather than the power of a plug-in unit.

Does it need batteries or does it recharge?

It runs on two AA batteries, which are included. There is no charging cable or rechargeable pack.

How much water does the tank hold?

The removable tank holds 150 ml. That is enough for a short session, so expect to refill it during longer cleaning.

Can I use it in the shower?

The product information describes the body as water-resistant and suitable for shower use. Keep the battery compartment closed and dry.

What comes in the box?

The flosser, two pressure cleaning tips (one high, one low) and two AA batteries.

How does it compare with a rechargeable water flosser?

About the Equate HydroClean Cordless Water Flosser

The Equate HydroClean Cordless Water Flosser is a handy oral-care tool that uses a stream of water to remove food from between your teeth and along the gum line, reaching spots where brushing can miss. It comes with two pressure cleaning tips—one high and one low—so you can choose the setting that suits you, and each tip rotates a full 360 degrees to help you direct the water around every part of your mouth. The removable tank lifts out for easy refilling between uses, and the 150 ml reservoir gives you a clear sense of how much water you're working with. Because the design is cordless and water-resistant, the current product information describes it as suitable for use in the shower. Battery-operated and powered by AA batteries, it's a simple addition to your everyday care routine.
