Who are Hyper Slinky strings for?

Bassists who want a light, low-tension feel for bending and fast playing. They suit rock, funk and pop more than heavy styles.

How do they compare to regular Ernie Ball Slinkys?

Hyper Slinky uses lighter 40-100 gauges, so tension is lower and the low end is less stiff. Regular Slinkys feel heavier and fuller.

No. They are uncoated nickel-plated steel roundwounds, so they will lose brightness with play and need wiping down.

One four-string set in 40-100 gauge: .040, .060, .080 and .100.
