Is 1500W enough for real steam cleaning?

Yes. 1500W is above average for a handheld and should give steady steam for grout and tile. Expect short run times between refills because the tank is small.

Can I use it on hardwood floors?

Only on sealed hardwood, and keep the head moving. Steam can lift finish or warp unsealed boards, so test a hidden spot first.

Does it really clean carpets?

It steams and loosens dirt, but it is not an extraction cleaner. It will not pull out deep stains or excess water the way a carpet shampooer does.

How does it compare with a bigger canister steamer?

A canister steamer holds more water and runs longer for whole-room cleaning. This handheld wins on storage and quick jobs, not on endurance.

What comes in the box?

Typically the steamer unit, a floor or brush attachment and a measuring cup. Check the listing for the exact accessory set before buying.

Handheld steamers from smaller brands tend to dip during seasonal sales and clearance events. Watch the price history rather than buying at first sight.

Our take on the Esquirla 1500W Handheld High Temperature Steam Cleaner

The Esquirla 1500W Handheld High Temperature Steam Cleaner is a corded handheld steamer aimed at hard floors and tile, with a carpet steamer mode. Its 1500W element is high for a handheld, which means faster heat-up and stronger steam than most 1000-1200W handhelds. It is a niche brand with little independent testing, so treat claims with caution. No current price was available to compare against its recent range.
