Is the Villa Tall Bookcase worth the price?

It is a solid-wood, made-to-order piece with crown molding and adjustable shelves, so you are paying for construction and finish rather than flat-pack value. If you want a bookcase that matches other furniture and lasts decades, it is reasonable; if you just need shelving, cheaper options exist.

How does it compare with the shorter Villa bookcase?

This one is 86.5 inches tall, so it uses vertical space and holds more shelves than the shorter Villa units. Both share the same 15-inch depth and modular styling, so they can stand side by side.

Are the shelves adjustable?

Yes. The shelves are adjustable, which lets you set spacing for tall books, binders or display items. Check the shelf count and weight rating with Ethan Allen for your configuration.

Can I get it in a different finish?

Yes. Standard finishes include light stains and paints, and additional finishes and two-tone combinations can be ordered through an Ethan Allen Design Center. Custom finishes add cost and lead time.

Does it come assembled?

It ships with Premier In-Home Delivery, which includes assembly and placement in your room. You do not assemble it yourself.

When is the best time to buy?

Ethan Allen runs periodic promotions on made-to-order furniture, often around holidays and season changes. Because the bookcase is sold direct rather than across many stores, watch Ethan Allen's own sales rather than comparing retailers.
