Questions and answers

Is the Eureka PowerSpeed good for pet hair?
It picks up hair on carpet and hard floors with its brush roll, but it has no HEPA filter or pet tool included. Homes with heavy shedding may want a model with better filtration.
Does it work on hardwood floors?
Yes. Eureka lists it for hardwood, carpet and area rugs, and the brush roll can be switched off for bare floors.
How often do I change the belt?
There is no fixed interval. Replace it when the brush roll stops spinning or the belt looks stretched or cracked. Keep a spare on hand.
Is it HEPA certified?
No. It uses a foam filter, so it is not a good pick if you need HEPA-level filtration for allergies.
What comes in the box?
The vacuum, a crevice tool and a dusting brush for the hose. Crevice tools and brushes are typical for this model; check the listing for the exact set.
When is it cheapest?
Uprights like this drop around major sales events. The $69 at ABC Warehouse as of November 6, 2026 is already near the bottom of its recent range.
