- Does this bed need a box spring?
- No. It is a platform bed, so the mattress rests on the frame's support slats. A box spring would only add height.
- What mattress size fits it?
- A standard full-size mattress, 54 by 75 inches. Check the frame's weight limit before pairing it with a heavy hybrid or latex mattress.
- Is the LED light included?
- Yes, the headboard light is built into the bed. It is a reading light, not a room lamp, so expect a focused glow over the pillow area.
- How much storage do the headboard shelves give?
- Enough for a few books, a phone and a small lamp. They are open shelves, not closed cabinets, so items stay visible.
- Is $309.99 a good price?
- It is the only new price listed as of November 7, 2026, at Walmart, so there is no recent range to judge it against. Compare it with other full metal platform beds with storage before deciding.
- How hard is assembly?
- Metal platform beds typically assemble with an Allen wrench in an hour or two. Two people help when attaching the headboard.
- Where is the Euroco Metal Full Size Platform with Headboard Storage Shelves and LED Light cheapest?
- At Walmart, for $309.99, as of our latest check.
