For collectors and parents who want a screen-free stunt toy, yes. It is a simple wind-up launcher, so don't expect RC-style control or long runs.

Does it need batteries?

No. The energizer is hand-cranked, so there are no batteries to buy or charge.

The set includes the 7-inch Evel Knievel figure, the stunt cycle, a helmet and the energizer launcher. The energizer comes in two halves you assemble.

The listed minimum age is 5 and up. The bike launches fast, so younger kids should play with supervision.

Distance depends on how hard you crank and the surface. Smooth hard floors give the longest runs; carpet shortens them.

Retro toys like this often drop around the holidays and during store clearance events. Track the price history and buy when it sits near the low end of its recent range.

Our take on the Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Launcher

The Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Launcher is a retro-styled set that pairs a 7-inch poseable Evel Knievel figure with a hand-cranked energizer launcher and a stunt cycle. You snap the two energizer halves together, wind it up, and release the bike to send it across the floor or off a ramp. It is a nostalgia play aimed at collectors and kids 5 and up, not a high-tech RC toy. No price was available for this listing, so check the current best price against its recent range before buying.
