Our take on the EZ-ACCESS PATHWAY 4' Straight Aluminum Wheelchair Ramp Kit

The EZ-ACCESS PATHWAY is a 4-foot straight aluminum wheelchair ramp kit for a single step or threshold, sold as a modular system with handrails. It is ADA-compliant in slope and rated for outdoor home use, and the aluminum frame keeps it lighter than steel ramps and rust-free. The listed specs are inconsistent: the product weight of 345 lbs and overall length of 10 ft do not match a 4-foot ramp, so confirm dimensions with the seller before ordering. No current price was provided, so check the live comparison for the latest best price against its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is the PATHWAY ramp ADA compliant?
The listing says ADA compliant but also lists ADA Compliant as No. The slope range of 1:8 to 1:14 meets ADA's 1:12 guideline at the shallow end, so confirm the exact model with the seller.
What rise can a 4-foot ramp handle?
At a 1:12 slope, 4 feet of run covers about 4 inches of rise. The listed 18-inch riser height would need a much longer ramp, so measure your step before ordering.
Does it work on grass or gravel?
It is designed for firm outdoor surfaces. On grass, a landing pad at the base makes it easier to navigate.
What is included in the kit?
It is sold as a modular kit with the aluminum ramp sections and handrails. Check the listing for the exact component list, since kit contents vary.
When is the best time to buy?
Ramp prices move with seasonal demand and sales. Compare the current price against its recent range on this page before buying.
