Are these clippers worth it for thick toenails?

For most buyers, yes. The 15mm jaw and angled head cut thick nails that standard clippers struggle with, and 104 ratings average 4.5 out of 5. If your nails are extremely hard or you need long handles, consider a heavier podiatrist-style nipper instead.

How do they compare with regular toenail clippers?

The jaw is wider (15mm) and the head is angled, so you get more room for thick nails and less bending. The handle is 4.8 inches, longer than a pocket clipper but shorter than some buyers want.

Will they work for a senior with limited mobility?

They are designed for that: the angled head and longer handle reduce bending and improve control. Several owners with limited flexibility say they work well. If reaching your feet is very hard, pair them with a long-handled trimmer or ask for help.

What is included in the box?

One toenail clipper and a nail file. No case or pouch is included. The clipper comes in orange or grey.

Are they good for the big toe?

Usually, but it is the tightest fit. The 15mm jaw handles most big toes, though one reviewer wished it were wider. Trim in small cuts rather than one full bite.
