Is this kit worth it compared with a ready-made electric trike?

If you already own a trike you like, the kit costs less than most electric trikes and keeps your frame and seating. A ready-made e-trike is simpler if you want everything assembled and warrantied as one unit.

What is the real range on a charge?

Expect 15–30 miles, and up to 45 in easy conditions. Rider weight, hills, assist level, and throttle use all cut into that.

Will it fit my trike?

It uses a 100 mm front dropout and comes in 20, 24, and 26-inch wheel sizes, so match the wheel size and check your fork spacing. The 170–190 mm rear spacing figure applies to rear-fit setups, not this front-wheel kit.

Cadence or torque sensor?

Cadence sensing is included and works well for throttle-heavy riding. The torque sensor plus crank conversion costs more but gives assist that follows how hard you pedal.

How long does charging take?

About 5 hours for the 15Ah pack with the included 3A charger. The battery is rated for roughly 500–800 charge cycles.
