About the Faucet Mount Water Filter System (6 Stages)
Best match for: a shopper who wants better-tasting tap water at the kitchen sink without under-sink plumbing or a separate pitcher, and who can switch between filtered and unfiltered flow.
Category: faucet-mount filter, point-of-use. Attaches directly to an existing standard kitchen faucet. Quick install, no tools or under-counter work.
Water source: municipal tap water.
Targets: six-stage filtration that reduces many common tap-water contaminants for cleaner taste and odor straight from the faucet.
Choose at checkout: Color only, Chrome (CQE-FM-00501) or White (CQE-FM-00500). Finish choice; filtration is identical.
Key specifications: compact space-saving body that keeps sink access clear; suggested flow rate 0.30 gallon per minute or less for best contact time; BPA-free housing.
Replacement (recurring): cartridge provides about 2,000 gallons (6 to 12 months) of filtered water. Replacement Faucet Mount Filter Cartridge: CQE-RC-04046.
Pairs with: the CQE-RC-04046 cartridge for ongoing use.
Not recommended for: whole-home or high-flow demand, well water with heavy sediment or iron, faucets that do not accept a screw-on aerator adapter, or filtered-line refrigerator and ice maker feeds.
This unit trades the higher flow of an under-sink system for instant install and on-faucet convenience, so it suits small households and quick taste-and-odor improvement at a single tap.
