Is the Fenix E03R bright enough for walking at night?

It reaches 295 feet of beam distance on high, which covers a path or campsite. It is a floodlight, so it lights a wide area rather than a distant spot.

Can I replace the battery?

No. The 400mAh li-polymer battery is built in and charges over USB-C. Plan on recharging it rather than swapping cells.

How long does it run?

Fenix rates it at up to 30 hours on the lowest settings. High output drains the small battery much faster and steps down as it does.

Does it come with a mount?

This version is sold with a Nano mount, which lets you attach it to a cap, strap or handlebar. Check the listing contents for the exact mount and cable included.

At $29.95 at Original Free Range as of November 6, 2026, it is priced in line with other metal USB-C keychain lights. You pay for the build and the red light, not for raw output.

How does it compare with a phone flashlight?

It is far brighter, has a red mode and a real low setting, and keeps your phone free. It is also small enough to always have with you.
