Is the Fenix E06R worth $55.95?

It is worth it if you want white light, a red laser and UV in one keychain body. If you only need a basic keychain light, cheaper options do the same job.

How does it compare with the older Fenix E06?

The E06R adds a red laser and UV light plus USB-C charging and a magnetic tail. The original E06 is a simpler single-beam light.

How long does the battery last?

Fenix rates it up to 60 hours on the lowest mode, with much shorter runtime on high. The 750mAh battery is built in and charges over USB-C.

The USB-C port has internal waterproof treatment, but Fenix does not list a full IP rating. Do not submerge it.

What comes in the box?

The light, a pocket clip and a USB-C charging cable. Check the listing for the exact bundle before ordering.

The best new price is $55.95 at REI as of November 5, 2026, near the top of its range. Watch for holiday sales, when Fenix lights usually drop.

Our take on the Fenix E06R

The Fenix E06R is a keychain-size EDC flashlight with three light sources: a white main beam, a red laser pointer and UV light. It runs on a built-in 750mAh battery charged over USB-C and has a magnetic tail plus a pocket clip. The main beam reaches 361 feet and runs up to 60 hours on low. At $55.95 at REI as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the top of its recent price range, so it is not a bargain moment.
