Our take on the Fenton Style Diamond Quilted Cranberry Glass Ruffled Lamp Shade

This is a small vintage-style lampshade in cranberry glass with a diamond-quilted pattern and a ruffled edge. At 4 inches it is a fitter or accent size, not a shade for a full table lamp. Fenton glass shades like this are collectible, so condition and the exact fitter measurement matter more than the price. No current store price was provided, so compare listings against recent sold prices for similar Fenton cranberry shades before buying.

Questions and answers

What size lamp does a 4-inch shade fit?
It suits small accent, boudoir and fairy lamps with a matching 4-inch fitter. Measure your lamp's holder before buying, since a shade that is too small will not sit securely.
Is this shade worth it?
That depends on condition and price. Check for chips, cracks and rim wear, and compare against recent sold prices for similar Fenton cranberry shades.
Will it match my other Fenton cranberry pieces?
Usually close, but vintage cranberry glass varies in tone and pattern depth between runs. Ask for photos in daylight before buying if an exact match matters.
Can I use it with a standard bulb?
Use a low-wattage bulb, since small glass shades can get hot. A warm LED or a low-wattage incandescent keeps the cranberry glow without stressing the glass.
What should be in the box?
Expect the shade only, with no bulb or lamp base. Confirm with the seller whether any mounting ring or fitter hardware is included.
