Questions and answers

Is the FiiO DM15 worth it over a cheap portable CD player?
If you use good headphones, yes. The R2R DAC and 1150mW output are well beyond what budget portables offer. For casual earbud listening, a basic player does the job for less.
Can it drive high-impedance headphones?
FiiO rates it at 1150mW+1150mW, which is plenty for most planar and high-impedance dynamic headphones. Check the impedance and sensitivity of your specific model against FiiO's published power figures.
Does it work as a USB DAC?
Yes. It accepts USB audio as well as CDs, so you can use it as a desktop DAC with a computer. You still need a source device for USB playback.
Can I use Bluetooth headphones with it?
Yes. It has an aptX Adaptive Bluetooth transmitter, so it sends CD audio to wireless headphones. Expect some latency, which matters for video but not for music.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not detail box contents. FiiO typically includes a USB cable and documentation; confirm the accessories list with the seller before ordering.
