Is $223 a good price for this saw kit?

It is the lowest price seen since October 30, 2026, matching the $223.00 low and below the $249.99 high. With only one store listing it new, expect little room to negotiate further.

How deep will it cut?

It cuts 2-9/16 inches at 90°, enough for 3x lumber, and bevels from 0 to 56°. That is shallower than a 7¼-inch saw, so thick stacked cuts need a flip.

What comes in the kit?

You get the saw, a 10Ah 24V battery, a carbide circular blade and the charger. The blade uses a 5/8-inch arbor.

How does the in-line design differ from a standard circular saw?

The blade sits in line with the motor rather than off to the side, which balances the tool and keeps the blade visible on both sides of the cut. The trade-off is the 12.74 lb weight with the battery.

Does it have a brake and dust collection?

Yes. It has an electric brake to stop the blade quickly and dust collection, plus a built-in LED light and a lower guard lever.

Will my Flex 24V batteries work in it?

Yes, it runs on the Flex 24V platform, and the included 10Ah pack fits other Flex 24V tools. Charging is rated 100% faster than the previous generation.
