Our take on the Flexible Gooseneck Clip On Fan Rechargeable Mini Clamp Fan with LED Digital Display

This is a small rechargeable fan with a flexible gooseneck and a clamp base, so it can clip to a desk edge, headboard or stroller bar and be aimed where you need airflow. It has three speeds and an LED digital display that shows battery level or speed. It is a low-cost accessory rather than a room fan, and no current price was provided for this page.

Pros

  • Flexible gooseneck aims air at a specific spot
  • Rechargeable battery works without an outlet

Cons
  • Small blade and housing mean limited airflow
  • Battery runtime drops fast on the top speed

Questions and answers

Is this fan worth it?
For personal, close-range cooling it is a practical cheap buy. Do not expect it to cool a room; it moves a small stream of air at whatever it is clipped to.
How long does the battery last?
Expect a few hours per charge on the low setting and noticeably less on high. Runtime depends on the battery size, which varies between versions of this fan.
Will it fit my desk or headboard?
It needs a thin, flat edge the clamp can grip, roughly an inch or less depending on the jaw. Rounded rails and thick panels are a poor fit.
Can it run while plugged in?
Most versions of this fan run from USB power while charging, so you can use it during a recharge. Check the listing for the cable type, usually USB-C or micro-USB.
What comes in the box?
Typically the fan and a charging cable. A wall adapter is usually not included, and mounting pads or a stand vary by seller.
When is it cheapest?
Clip fans like this drop in price during summer-end clearance and back-to-school sales. Compare across stores, since the same model is sold under several brand names.
