Is the Flexsteel Vernon worth it?

It bundles power recline, swivel, glide and a zero-gravity position, which is a lot of motion for one chair. Whether it is worth it depends on the price you find and whether you have the 41 by 40 inch footprint to spare.

How does it differ from a plain power recliner?

Most power recliners only recline. The Vernon also swivels and glides, and it can stop in a zero-gravity position that tilts you back with legs raised.

Will it fit through my door?

The chair is 41 inches wide and 40 inches deep, and the carton weighs 185 lb. Measure doorways and hall turns, and plan for two people or a delivery service.

What is CloudLux fill?

CloudLux is Flexsteel's hypoallergenic down-alternative cushion fill. It gives a softer, down-like seat without feathers, which suits allergy sufferers.

Does it have a battery backup or USB port?

The specs given do not list a battery backup or USB charging. Ask the store before buying if you need either.

When is the best time to buy it?

Furniture promotions cluster around Memorial Day, Labor Day and Black Friday. Check the price history on this page to see how the current price compares with past lows.
