Pros

  • HEPA filter traps fine dust better than a plain mesh filter
  • Cordless, so no 12V cord tangle in the cabin
  • Small enough to store in a door pocket or trunk
Cons
  • 3.1 out of 5 from 20 ratings is weak for a vacuum
  • Short runtime typical of this size and price class
  • Small bin needs frequent emptying
  • Suction drops as the filter clogs; HEPA filters need washing or replacing

Questions and answers

Is the Floray car vacuum worth it?
For light crumbs and sand in a car, at a low price, it can be. If you expect strong suction or long runtime, spend more on a known brand.
How long does the battery last?
No runtime is listed. Expect short bursts of 10 to 15 minutes from vacuums this size, so plan on cleaning one area at a time.
Does the HEPA filter need replacing?
Yes, eventually. Wash it when suction drops and replace it when it stays clogged; check that replacement filters are sold before buying.
Is it good for pet hair?
It will lift loose hair from seats and mats, but hair wraps around the small nozzle and bin quickly. It is not a substitute for a full-size vacuum.
What comes in the box?
The listing does not say. Expect the vacuum, a crevice or brush nozzle and a charging cable, and confirm accessories with the store.
When is it cheapest?
Small-brand vacuums like this usually drop during holiday sales and back-to-school events. Set a price alert and compare across stores.
