Our take on the Foldable Mini Washer

The Deepalook Foldable Mini Washer is a 12L collapsible portable washing machine with three wash modes and a gentle spin dry cycle. It folds down for storage, which makes it suited to small apartments, dorms, RVs and travel. It is a hand-fed, small-batch washer, not a replacement for a full-size machine. No current price or price history was provided, so its latest best price cannot be compared with its recent range.

Best forWashing socks, underwear and delicates between full loadsApartments, dorms and RVs with no laundry hookupTravelers and campers washing small items by handPeople who want a washer that stores flat
Pros
  • Folds down for storage in tight spaces
  • 12L drum handles a small batch of socks, towels or delicates
  • Three wash modes cover light and heavier small loads
  • Gentle spin dry removes some water before line drying
  • Lightweight enough to move between rooms or pack
Cons
  • 12L is small; one pair of jeans or a bedsheet will not fit
  • Spin dry is gentle, so clothes still need air drying
  • Needs a nearby sink or tub to fill and drain
  • Not a substitute for a full-size washer for regular laundry

Questions and answers

Is the Deepalook Foldable Mini Washer worth it?
It is worth it if you mostly wash socks, underwear, delicates and small towels and lack space or a laundry hookup. For everyday family laundry, a full-size machine does the job better.
How much laundry fits in the 12L drum?
Expect a small batch: several pairs of socks, a few underwear items or a couple of light shirts. Bulky items like jeans, sweaters or bedding will not fit.
Does it really dry clothes?
No. The spin cycle is a gentle spin dry that removes some water. Clothes still need to be hung or laid out to finish drying.
How do I fill and drain it?
You fill it from a sink or tub and drain it manually into a drain or bucket. It does not connect to plumbing like a standard washer.
Where can I use it?
It works in apartments, dorms, RVs, campers and hotel rooms where a sink or tub is nearby. It needs a power outlet and a place to drain water.
When is it cheapest?
No price data was provided, so no cheapest period can be identified. Check the current price against similar 12L foldable washers before buying.
