Questions and answers

Is the stand really foldable?
Yes. The stand folds for storage or transport, which is the main reason to pick this set over a fixed egg chair. Expect to re-check the joints after folding it a few times.
Can it stay outside in the rain?
The PE rattan and metal frame handle occasional rain, but bring the cushion inside and dry the frame. Standing water in the basket and rust at the joints are the usual long-term problems.
How much weight does it hold?
The listed capacity is 350 lb. That covers most adults, but the folding stand is the weak point, so avoid swinging hard or letting children climb on it.
Does it come with the cushion?
Yes, a seat cushion is included. It is on the thin side; many owners add a thicker pad for longer sitting.
Is $161 a good price?
It is a low price for a chair-and-stand set; comparable hanging egg chairs usually run $200 and up. At $161 at English Elm as of November 6, 2026, it is a fair buy if you want the folding stand.
How much assembly is needed?
You attach the basket to the stand and tighten the frame. Plan on 30 to 60 minutes with two people, since the basket is awkward to lift alone.
Where is the Folding PE Rattan Hanging Egg Chair with Stand Black Indoor Outdoor Hammock Swing Basket Chair cheapest?
