Our take on the Folding Treadmill Superfit Electric Portable Treadmill

The Superfit Electric Portable Treadmill is a folding, black walking-and-jogging treadmill with a 2.25 HP motor, a 265 lb weight capacity, heart rate grips and a large LED touch display for time, speed, distance and calories. Its shock absorption system and low-noise motor suit apartment use, and the foldable frame with transport wheels lets it roll under a bed or into a closet. It is a budget home treadmill rather than a running machine, so expect walking and light jogging speeds. Its latest best price is not stated here; check the price history before buying to see where it sits against its recent range.

Questions and answers

Is this treadmill good for running?
No. The 2.25 HP motor and folding frame suit walking and light jogging. For steady running, look at a non-folding treadmill with a larger motor and a longer deck.
How much space does it need when folded?
The folding frame and wheels let it stand upright against a wall or roll into a closet. Measure your storage spot against the folded dimensions on the listing before buying.
Does it have an incline?
No incline setting is listed. You get speed control only, so hill training is not an option on this model.
What is the weight limit?
265 lb. Heavier users should look at treadmills rated 300 lb or more.
Is it quiet enough for an apartment?
The low-noise motor and shock absorption keep it fairly quiet at walking speeds. Footfall noise rises with speed, so a mat underneath helps on hard floors.
When is the best time to buy it?
Folding treadmills like this one usually drop around Black Friday, New Year fitness sales and spring. Check the price history to see whether the current price is near its low.
What do buyers say about the Folding Treadmill Superfit Electric Portable Treadmill?
Buyers like: Easy to assemble; Good value for the money; Straightforward and easy to use.
