Our take on the Foredom Video Walkie Talkies for Kids 2 Pack

The Foredom Kids Walkie Talkies are a two-handset toy radio set for children roughly 3 to 12, with 22 channels, a talk confirmation tone and a low battery alert. Each handset runs on an integrated rechargeable 3.7 V battery and measures about 4.9 by 2.1 by 0.9 inches, so it fits small hands. The best new price is $28.41 at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, and only one store lists it new, so there is no meaningful price history to compare against.

  • Short range typical of toy walkie talkies
  • Battery size listed as AAA while the pack is integrated rechargeable, which is confusing

Questions and answers

Is $28.41 a good price for this set?
It is the only new price listed, at Walmart as of November 7, 2026, so there is no recent range to compare it with. At about $14 per handset for a rechargeable pair, it is reasonable for a toy set.
What age is it for?
The listed range is 3 to 12 years. The simple buttons and small body suit younger kids, while older kids may want longer range.
How is it powered?
Each handset has an integrated rechargeable 3.7 V battery. The spec sheet also lists AAA battery size, so confirm the charging method on the box before buying.
How many walkie talkies come in the pack?
Two. It is sold as a set of two handsets, enough for two kids to talk to each other.
What is the range?
The listing does not state a range. Toy walkie talkies of this size typically cover a house, yard or park, not miles.
Does it have a safety certification?
The listing shows no NRTL listing, so it has not been shown to meet US safety testing standards. Keep that in mind for very young children.
Where is the Foredom Video Walkie Talkies for Kids 2 Pack cheapest?
At Walmart, for $28.41, as of our latest check.
What do buyers say about the Foredom Video Walkie Talkies for Kids 2 Pack?
Rated 4.9 out of 5 from 26 ratings.
