Our take on the FORGEMUS Cable Crossover Machine

The Forgemus 1018 is a plate-loaded cable crossover station for home gyms, with two adjustable pulleys and a rated 800 lb max load and 210 lb maximum resistance. It covers chest, back, arms and lower body work from one frame. It is compact for a crossover at about 51 x 60 x 82 inches, but at 146 lb it is a light frame that needs care with heavy stacks. The only new price found is $399.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, with no other new listings to compare against.

Best forHome lifters who want cable flyes and crossovers without a gym membershipSmall home gyms that need one station for chest, back and armsBuyers who already own Olympic or standard weight platesResistance and accessory work at moderate loads
Pros
  • Two adjustable cable columns allow flyes, crossovers, rows and triceps work
  • Plate-loaded design uses weight plates you may already own
  • Rated to 800 lb max load and 210 lb maximum resistance
  • Compact footprint for a crossover at roughly 51 x 60 x 82 inches
  • Alloy steel frame in red
  • Covers chest, back, arms and lower body in one station
Cons
  • No written warranty listed
  • 146 lb frame is light for a crossover, so heavy stacks may shift or wobble
  • Plates are not included; you supply the resistance
  • Single pulley per side limits some dual-cable exercises
  • Only one new price found, so there is no price competition to check

Questions and answers

Is the Forgemus 1018 worth it at $399.99?
At $399.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it is a low entry price for a plate-loaded crossover. It makes sense if you already own plates and train at moderate loads. The lack of a written warranty and the light 146 lb frame are the main trade-offs.
Does it come with weight plates?
No. The box includes the home gym system and a manual. You need your own plates to load the carriage, and the 210 lb maximum resistance depends on what you load.
How much space does it need?
The frame measures about 51.2 x 59.8 x 82.3 inches. Leave extra room around the pulleys for cable travel and for loading plates.
What is the maximum resistance?
Forgemus rates it at 210 lb maximum resistance and 800 lb max load. The resistance figure is the practical ceiling for the cable stacks, not the frame rating.
Is it stable with heavy weight?
The frame weighs 146 lb, which is light for a crossover. Anchor it or load it carefully and keep stacks moderate, especially on crossovers and lat pulls.
When is the price lowest?
Only one new price was found: $399.99 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026. With no competing new listings, watch for seasonal sales at Walmart rather than expecting a lower store price.
Where is the FORGEMUS Cable Crossover Machine cheapest?
At Walmart, for $399.99, as of our latest check.
