Is the Fosmon luggage scale worth it?

For $19.49 at Best Buy as of November 7, 2026 you get two scales, so the per-unit cost is low. If you fly a few times a year and want to avoid overweight fees, it pays for itself on the first avoided charge.

Digital hook scales in this class are typically accurate to within a few tenths of a pound on a packed suitcase. Weigh the bag twice and average if the reading matters for a tight limit.

What battery does it use?

A CR2032 3V lithium coin cell, and one is included with each scale. Replacements are common and cheap.

Can it weigh in pounds and kilograms?

Yes. It switches between lbs, kg, g and oz, so it works for US airline limits and metric limits abroad.

Two digital luggage scales, a CR2032 battery for each and a user manual.

When is the price lowest?

Travel-gear prices tend to dip around Black Friday and in late spring before summer trips. Track the price history here rather than buying on impulse.
