Our take on the FOSSiBOT S7 Smartphone 8GB+256GB

The FOSSiBOT S7 is a rugged-style Android phone with a 6.9-inch 120Hz display, dual SIM 4G, fast charging and a 16MP rear camera. It is sold in an 8GB+256GB configuration, aimed at buyers who want a big screen and long battery life rather than flagship cameras. It is a niche brand, so support and update history are limited compared with major makers.

Questions and answers

Is the FOSSiBOT S7 worth buying?
It makes sense if a huge 120Hz screen, 256GB storage and dual SIM 4G matter more to you than camera quality. If you want 5G or strong photo performance, a mainstream midrange phone is a safer pick.
Does the FOSSiBOT S7 have 5G?
No. It is a 4G phone with dual SIM support, so check your carrier's 4G coverage before buying.
How big is the FOSSiBOT S7?
The screen is 6.9 inches and the phone weighs 7.62 oz. That is large enough that one-handed use will be difficult for most people.
What is in the box with the FOSSiBOT S7?
Expect the phone, a charger and cable, and a SIM tool. Confirm the exact bundle with the seller, since FOSSiBOT packs vary by region.
Is the FOSSiBOT S7 good for photos?
The rear camera is 16MP, which is modest by current standards. It is fine for casual daylight shots but will struggle in low light and with fine detail.
