Is the Fox V3 Tine ECE 22.06 certified?

Yes. The helmet is listed to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards, so it meets both European and US road and off-road requirements.

What is the shell made of?

A composite fiberglass shell, listed as about 60% composite, 30% EPS and 10% EPP. The mix of EPS and EPP gives the liner different densities for impact absorption.

Does it work with helmet communication systems?

Yes. Fox lists it as compatible with most helmet communication systems, so Bluetooth intercoms from the major brands should fit.

What closure does it use?

A titanium D-ring fastener. It is lighter than a steel D-ring and needs the usual double-thread and snap routine.

Is this a youth helmet?

The listing groups it as youth and unisex. Check the size chart before ordering, since youth sizing runs smaller than adult shells.

When is the best time to buy?

At $256.50 at eBay as of November 6, 2026, it is the only new price listed. Watch for markdowns when Fox releases new graphics, since older colorways usually drop first.
