Our take on the French Provincial Carved Wood TV Stand Elegant Media Console with Silent Drawer Slides

This is a French Provincial-style media console in a white finish, with carved wood detailing, a cabinet, and a top mount rated for screens up to 87 inches. Silent drawer slides are the headline hardware feature, keeping the look traditional while the drawers close quietly. It is a statement piece rather than a budget stand. At $989.51 at Lakiq.com as of November 3, 2026, it is the only new price listed, so there is no recent range to compare against.

Questions and answers

Is $989.51 a good price for this TV stand?
It is the only new price listed, at Lakiq.com as of November 3, 2026, so there is nothing to compare it with. Carved solid-wood consoles of this size usually sit in the high hundreds to low thousands, so the price is in line with the category rather than a bargain.
Will it hold an 87-inch TV?
Yes. The listing rates it for screens up to 87 inches and includes a mount. Check the weight rating for your specific TV, since an 85-inch set can weigh 80 to 100 pounds.
Does it come with the TV mount?
The listing says a mount is included. Confirm with the store whether it is a fixed or tilting mount and what VESA patterns it supports before ordering.
How big a room does it need?
A console sized for an 87-inch screen is typically 70 to 80 inches wide, so plan on a wall at least 8 feet wide. Measure doorways and stairs first, because carved trim adds depth.
Are the drawers really silent?
The listing specifies silent drawer slides, which usually means soft-close or damped runners. They quiet the close but still need occasional adjustment if a drawer starts to stick.
When is it cheapest?
With only one store pricing it new, discounts are likely tied to that store's seasonal sales rather than broad competition. Watch the Lakiq.com price around major holiday sales.
Where is the French Provincial Carved Wood TV Stand Elegant Media Console with Silent Drawer Slides cheapest?
At Lakiq.com, for $989.51, as of our latest check.
