The Frigidaire 7 cu. ft. Convertible Upright is a single-door compressor appliance that runs as either a full refrigerator or a full freezer, switched with one control. It stands about 55 inches tall and 21 inches wide, so it fits garages, basements, dorms and bars where a second full-size unit won't go. Six glass shelves and reversible doors add flexibility. At $298 at Walmart as of November 5, 2026, it sits at the low end of its recent range, which has run roughly from the high $200s to the mid $300s.

Owner ratings are middling at 3.1 out of 5, and complaints center on frost buildup and temperature consistency. Buyers who use it as simple overflow storage tend to be happier than those expecting a set-and-forget appliance.
