Our take on the Front Exterior Prehung uPVC Double Doors MANUX 8088 Antracite Sidelite Exterior Window Entrance Patio Garage 88" x 80" 2.75" Thick 1 Piece Right-Hand Inswing
The Vdom MANUX 8088 is a prehung double front door set with a sidelite window, sized 88 x 80 inches with a 2.75-inch thick slab and a right-hand inswing. It is built on a uPVC frame with a metal core and an anthracite finish, and the set weighs about 750 lb, so it needs a rough opening of 90.5 x 82.5 inches and a two-person or pro install. It suits entryways, patios and garages where you want a wide double-leaf opening with glass for light. No current price was available for this listing, so compare it against other prehung double doors with sidelites before committing.
- Prehung in a uPVC frame, so it arrives assembled and ready to set
- Double leaves plus a sidelite give a wide opening and extra light
- 2.75-inch thickness is sturdier than typical 1.75-inch exterior doors
- Anthracite finish suits modern and contemporary facades
- Rated for exterior, patio and garage use
- About 750 lb: needs a crew, a lift and a properly framed opening
- Rough opening of 90.5 x 82.5 inches will not fit a standard 36-inch single-door frame
- Right-hand inswing only; no left-hand or outswing option listed
- uPVC frames can be harder to repair or refinish than wood
- No price or availability was shown, so value is hard to judge

Questions and answers
- What size rough opening does this door need?
- Plan for 90.5 inches wide by 82.5 inches high. The door itself is 88 x 80 inches, so the frame and shimming take up the difference.
- Is this door set heavy enough to need professional installation?
- Yes. At roughly 750 lb, it is a two- or three-person job with lifting equipment. A pro installer is the safer choice for a prehung double door this size.
- Does the sidelite open or is it fixed?
- The sidelite is a fixed exterior window panel beside the double doors. It lets in light but does not open for ventilation.
- Which way does this door swing?
- It is a right-hand inswing, meaning the active leaf hinges on the right and opens inward when viewed from outside. Check your entry layout before ordering.
- Is a uPVC door with a metal core good for exterior use?
- Yes. uPVC resists rot and moisture, and the metal core adds rigidity. It is a common choice for front and patio doors in wet or coastal climates.
- When is the best time to buy an exterior door like this?
- Watch for seasonal sales in spring and fall, when door and window retailers discount. Compare the price against other prehung double doors with sidelites before buying.
